I have a special interest in a range of different aspects of dentistry, and my primary focus is on Advanced Restorative Dentistry, Implant Dentistry, as well as Cosmetic Dentistry
I was principal Dentist at a large practice near Stourbridge between 1988 and 2018, and have a wealth of experience and expertise. My main clinical interests are in Implantology and advanced restorative dentistry.
I qualified from the Royal Dental Hospital, London in 1983 with BDS, and in 1984 gained LDS from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In 1997, I was awarded DGDP(UK) from the RCS England. In the 1980’s, I completed the SAAD and Eastman Dental Hospital courses in London in General Anaesthesia and Sedation. From 2003 to 2005, I completed advanced training in restorative, aesthetic, and implant dentistry at a specialist centre in Manchester. In 2011, I gained a Master’s degree in Advanced General Dental Practice from the University of Birmingham, qualifying with distinction.
The Practice built up a good reputation in the area under my leadership of over 30 years, not only setting high standards in dental care, but also in terms of Practice management and excellent quality patient care and service.
My interest in cosmetic dentistry has developed over the years and this has been enhanced since the introduction of implants into my practice in 2004. I have also been involved in an implant study group and advanced treatment planning group, and I have also been a member of the Association of Dental Implantology UK (ADI) and British Dental Association.
Your first visit will be an initial consultation with Dr Worskett
We will take a full medical history from you to ensure we are keeping you safe at all times and we can tailor your treatment to your needs.
The team will discuss your concerns and worries about your mouth and answer any questions you may have.
We will examine your mouth and take any relevant X-rays.
You will have the opportunity at the consultation to discuss the treatment options available.
Following your appointment, we will send you a written report and a treatment plan detailing the various options available to you and an estimate of the fees, including extended payment options.
Our aim will be to give you as much trustworthy information as possible about how we can help you, what the best options are for you, and the timings and cost of the various options that are appropriate to your treatment needs.
I appreciate that you may be nervous when coming to the dentist, especially for complex or invasive treatment. You can be assured that you will be treated with utmost care by a team you can trust, and everything we do is guided by this philosophy.
